Behind isaac nutrition are Charlotte, Tim and Markus, movement fanatics who love sports and good food. Their diet plays an important role for all three.
The idea for isaac was born as early as 2016: a report in the business paper brandeins made them aware of the health and ecological benefits of insects for the first time. This led to the project to make insects accessible to the West as food. The team of nutrition experts, scientists and from its sporty environment quickly received a lot of encouragement.

The founding team wants to communicate honestly with its customers and partners: The product will not make you strong or fit on your own and certainly not save the world. But: isaac is a step in the right direction, towards a healthy and resource-saving diet in which insects can play a valuable role.
isaac nutrition worked closely with athletes from the functional sports sector - CrossFit, Calisthenics, Freeletics etc. - in the nine-month product development of protein powder. The open-mindedness of this target group for food supplements containing insects was very high right from the start. Therefore, a special focus was placed on the wholeness of the powder: The protein powder is not the protein powder with the highest protein content, but supplies important minerals, vitamins, healthy fats and dietary fibres and relies on high-quality ingredients.
isaac nutrition supports all athletes who are looking for a balanced and high-protein diet in their lifestyle and regeneration.
In order to develop a truly functional, healthy and ecologically valuable product that meets these requirements, isaac nutrition faces the challenge of an in-depth scientific foundation for its products. To this end, the isaac team cooperates closely with food technologists and nutrition scientists at the Münster University of Applied Sciences, in particular the Institute for Sustainable Nutrition. The main focus of this cooperation was the optimization of the amino acid profile by combining different protein sources and the nutrient profile. Patience, accuracy and honesty were and are required in each of these steps.
